Charity Sale for Symphony Above the Clouds

Register and if you cannot make it you'll still get the "replay" to buy items if they haven't been sold.

The Charity Sale is a virtual fundraiser where lots of people contribute to a cause. People donate items for SOAR to sell. People register for the virtual sale and then say they want to buy items. The sales happen in the online comment field but payment does not happen until items are picked up. All of the proceeds go to the nonprofit. Payments are done in cash or through the donation platform for the nonprofit itself.

Symphony Above the Clouds (Ute Pass Symphony Guild) formed in 1979 for the sole purpose of funding concerts by the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Orchestra for area residents. The Ute Pass Symphony Guild remains an all volunteer organization with very low overhead and administrative costs. All donations are put toward bringing the concert together on July 5th at Woodland Park Middle School's athletic field. Donations also help to fund a 4th grade trip to see a concert and learn about the orchestra.

Gayle Gross

Gayle Gross has been an avid volunteer for all of her adult life. Helping nonprofits be successful with their mission is something she takes time with. Charity Sales developed in 2020 as a virtual fundraiser. Gayle continues to discover ways to involve community in activities. She's opening the Reserve - Our Gallery on May 1. This venue opens the door to people for meetings and events during open hours (12 - 4 every day) at no cost. The location is downtown Woodland Park at 400 West Midland, Suite 120. A small fee does apply for after-hour activities at the Reserve - Our Gallery. She also initiated Last Sunday Art Walks in Woodland Park in January to engage artists, businesses and art lovers in a fun activity. The walks happen on the last Sunday of every month.
